Carpenter, translator, presenter, designer, retoucher,
art director, photo producer — sometimes it takes
a long way to find your thing in life.
Tom Sólo (Germany, 1973) explored
many creative fields before he eventually became a photo artist. The
globetrotter has worked in more than 40 countries and loves to travel
the world facing new challenges.
After a creative education and having studied
art & design at a private academy in germany, a reportage flying
around the world in a single engine aircraft has kicked off his photographic
career and made him a multilingual globetrotter with a modern, innovative
approach. Booked by clients all over, the high
society, brands like Audi, Volvo, swisscom and magazines like Vanity Fair,
Swiss Magazine and Monocle, Sólo has become a renown artist, with
one credo, that "it
is always a challenge to find out what photography can be today."
Sólo speaks excellent english, german (native), perfect spanish (lived
many years in Spain), basic french and is based near Frankfurt
International Airport (FRA), for convenient worldwide flight connections.
Tom Sólo is the official portrait photographer of the Swiss
Economic Forum.
