TOM SÓLO arbeitet
selbständig für Verlage, Magazine, Agenturen, und national
und international für Privat- und Geschäftskunden im Bereich
People-, Reportage- und Werbefotografie. Langjährige Erfahrung als
Fotograf und Producer in Spanien, besonders auf Mallorca
und in Barcelona, macht ihn zum zuverlässigen Partner für
Fotoproduktionen. Er spricht - neben deutsch - fließend
spanisch und englisch.
2009_06 - Bildband "Smilingflyer" über
die 60-tägige Weltumrundung in einer einmotorigen Propellermaschine
erscheint in Copenhagen.
2009_05 - Bildband "Es
Moli d'En Morei" über
ein Luxus-Anwesen auf Mallorca erscheint im Jovis Verlag, Berlin.
2007/2008 60-tägige Weltumrundung in
einem Privatflugzeug, Fotoreportage.
2006 selbständig freiberuflich und künstlerisch
tätig als Fotograf mit Basis Palma de Mallorca + Barcelona.
2004 - Fotograf für spanische + internationale Medien,
zeitweise angestellt beim spanischen Verlagshaus EPI.
2000 - Auswanderung nach Spanien (Barcelona, Madrid, Palma
de Mallorca).
Arbeit als freier Fotoassistent, dann als Producer für ansässige Fotoproduktionsfirmen,
später dann Freelance Photo Producer für namhafte Fotografen, spanienweit.
1999 - Foto- und Studioassistenz bei Werbefotografen in
Düsseldorf, ausserdem sechsmonatige Teilnahme an einer privaten Schauspielschule.
Ausbildung zum Sprecher
für TV- und Funkwerbung. Seitdem Arbeit für verschiedene Studios
deutschlandweit.
1996 - 1999 Studiengang Gestaltung an der AfGH Aachen,
(Akademie für Gestaltende Handwerke). Erste Arbeiten mit Schwarz-Weiss-Fotografien
(Film).
1992 - 1995 Ausbildung zum Möbeltischler. Auszeichnung für hervorragende
Leistungen vom Bundeswirtschaftsministerium mit einem Stipendium für
Begabtenförderung.

TOM SÓLO empezó su carrera como fotógrafo profesional en el año 2004, despues de un largo camino sobre la tierra creativa. Su primera educación profesional fue ebanista, y gracias a un premio del ministerio de la economía de alemánia, tom podía permitirse unos estúdios de diseño en una academia privada en alemánia.
Mientras sus estúdios en los años 1996 -1999 en Aquisgram ya empezó a trabajar con la cámera fotográfica y con carretes de pelicula de blanco y negro, probando crear obras con esos instrumentos creativos, pero no fue el momento adequado de empezar con la fotografía profesional: Tom fue contratado por fotógrafos de publicidad como asistente en los platós de Dusseldorf, ayudando y organizando sesiónes de fotografía de moda y publicidad.
Como una segunda carrera eligió desarollar una pasión que siempre ha tenido: trabajar con su vóz como locutor en la radio y la television, sobre todo doblajes y spots publicitarios. Se inscribió en una escuela de actores y fue formado en las técnicas de usar la voz para estos trabajos. Tom ha trabajado con varios estudios hasta en españa.
En 2000 se fue desde Dusseldorf a vivir en Barcelona, Madrid y finalmente Palma de Mallorca, donde empezó trabajar como diseñador gráfico, asistente de fotógrafos y productor de sesiónes de fotografías. Esa combinación muy útil ha atraído varios clientes internacionales, fotógrafos cómo agencias, que hasta ahora trabajan con el.
En 2004 Tom eligió la carrera de la fotografía profesional y fue contratado por el editorial E.P.I. para uno de sus periódicos y también empezó a trabajar freelance como fotógrafo. Desde entonces, varios clientes nacionales y internacionales, empresas y privados, confien en su vision y su calidad del trabajo.
2007/2008 Tom fue contratado por un inversor internacional para acompañar un equipo de amigos en un viaje por el mundo en su avion privado (Pilatus PC-12). En este viaje de dos meses, el hizo 31000 fotos, muchas extraordinarias, y las imágenes de ese viaje único se publicaron en varias revistas.
